The Gentleman from Angell Street collects memories of H.P. Lovecraft as written by some of his home-town companions, C.M. Eddy, Jr. and Muriel E. Eddy. In addition to long-form recollections of the Old Gent by both C.M. and Muriel Eddy, the book will include Muriel Eddy's memorial poems in honour of Lovecraft, correspondence between and related to the Eddys and Lovecraft, Lovecraft's revisions of Eddy manuscripts, and archival photographs. An introduction to the book will be supplied by Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society.
First published as a black-and-white softcover volume by Fenham Publishing, the new Helios House Press offering represents a substantially expanded and embellished edition of The Gentleman from Angell Street—more than doubling its size.
