The Gentleman from Angell Street collects memories of H.P. Lovecraft as written by fellow Rhode Islanders C.M. Eddy, Jr. and Muriel E. Eddy. In addition to long-form recollections of the Old Gent by the Eddys, the book will include Muriel Eddy’s memorial poems in honour of Lovecraft, correspondence between and related to the Eddys and Lovecraft, an essay on the Dark Swamp, Lovecraft’s revisions of Eddy manuscripts, and archival photographs. An introduction to the book will be supplied by Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society.
The contents will be presented in full colour on quality paper in a hardcover volume quarter-bound in bookcloth and debossed with gold foil accents. It will perfectly accompany other Helios titles on Lovecraft's circle, forming a loose series with The Spirit of Revision and Two Hearts that Beat as One.
